'''Arthur John Ernest Willison''' was a councillor for [[South Ward]] on the [[City of Camberwell|Camberwell Council]] for 11 years and served as mayor for one term in 1922-1923.<ref name="BlameyHistoryCamberwell">Blainey, Geoffrey (1980). He served as president of the Hartwell United Churches Football Club until his death.<ref name="FuneralNoticeWillison1932" />

==Politics==
He was first elected as councillor for South Ward in September 1915 when he defeated the incumbent [[Edward Dillon]] by 33 votes. Dillon was the longest-serving councillor in Boroondara's history.
